ITINERARY

Day 1 & Day 2

We will begin and end each day in beautiful Estes Park. On day one and two, Kristi will pick up the participant from the hotel in Estes Park and start the scenic drive into Rocky Mountain National Park for 8 hours of private instruction while photographing the animals and landscape of the park. At the end of the day, you will be driven out of the park and back to your hotel where you can get dinner, relax, and get ready for the next day's adventure.

Day 3

Today is all about editing and the final product. Kristi will show you tips on how to optimize workflow and teach you how to work your composition and eye movement in your edits.  She is happy to teach either photo or video editing.  She will help you get your pictures from the adventure ready to share with friends and family, on social media, or to print and hang. Learn some of Kristi's tried and true tips and tricks to ensure your photos (and or videos)  look amazing every time.

Walking Through Pika Country

Rocky Mountain National Park is ideal habitat for pikas! These furry little creatures are very active this time of year and can often be found scurrying across the rock talus. We can typically see them making a comfortable home made out of grass, wildflowers, and moss and carrying them in their mouths back to their dens, which makes for a cinematic picture of the pikas working hard to collect greenery.

The vast mountain ranges in RMNP provide an ideal backdrop to get up close with the pikas and marmots that share this high-altitude, rocky habitat to see amazing moments unfold right in front of your eyes.
