I had so much fun shooting Stephanie and her family that it almost makes me want to reopen my family photography section of my company. See right now I only do family sessions for friends or past clients. Stephanie is a great friend and all around awesome person. We both moved from Atlanta to DC, both went to school for electrical engineering, and then both at some point in time or another were in the wedding industry. It was great meeting her kids for the first time. They were such happy kids, running and playing. They both loved posing for the camera and we had most fun I have ever had at a family session. I hope you guys love the pictures!

These are such beautiful pictures of a GREAT family. I haven't seen Steph or the kids in a few years and seeing them like this just made my day. If you ever get back into family photography, please sign me up. I might even come out looking good in a photo for once.

Such a fun couple and such a fun wedding! From brake-dancing young kids, to the world’s cutest Pomeranian dog, from photo booths, to Smirnoff ice-offs, this wedding had it all. The dance floor was so think of people dancing away all night, it was amazing. They even had a bridesmaid and groomsmen play a beautiful song during the reception, that was crazy amazing. I had a blast and was a bit sad when the night ended, the wedding was a full day event! I hope you enjoy the pictures, more spy camera fusion to come. So much fun!

Stone Manor Country Club

I don’t really even know how to start with this wedding, unreal, beautiful, a wedding I will never forget! It took place in a field out back of one of my all time favorite venues, Stone Manor. The ceremony started in in the setting sun, without a cloud in the sky, then all the sudden rain, totally unexpected. Right during Ava vows the most beautiful rainbow appeared over the ceremony. I ran to the top of a hill to get the whole picture, and noticed that everyone was so into Ava’s vows that they didn’t notice. It was really cool watching the guest when they left the ceremony, right at the end of the aisle was the best view, and they all pointed, smiled and hugged. It was crazy amazing!

It does make all the difference in the world when I have couples that trust me. The sun was perfect, the ceremony had just ended, and the rainbow was still out. Ken said to me, what do you suggest (the ceremony had run an extra 30 minutes meaning we were losing light for the photos). I told him I want to shoot him and his wife right away. He told his family they would have to wait for the family formals and we ran into a field and got some of my favorite pictures I have ever taken in my career. Once the golden sun tucked itself behind the trees, we gathered the family and got everything we needed. It made such a difference, and the pictures, I love! So thank you Ken and Ava for having such a beautiful wedding, trusting me, and having me as part of your big day! I hope you enjoy!

Make sure you watch the video for some more spy camera footage!
